Position Overview
As a Technology Manager at Inspire Infosol, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological landscape. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ASP.Net, MVC, .Net Core, MVVM, Angular/React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Graph, Rest APIs, SQL, AWS, and Azure.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Develop and implement the company's technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including software development, data science, IoT, and infrastructure teams.
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to identify technology trends, emerging tools, and platforms that can enhance our products and services.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and adoption of technology frameworks, tools, and platforms to optimize development processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead and manage a dynamic development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Drive the design and implementation of mobile applications using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or Maui.
- Architect and develop desktop and responsive web applications using .Net, C#, PHP, Python, Java, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React, and Node.js.
- Implement cross-platform development and responsive design principles for enhanced user experiences.
- Provide the leadership and structure to ensure technology solutions are accurate, on-time and meet the needs of business and customers by managing resources, coordinating projects, and participating in Agile ceremonies with the development team.
- Lead through example on complex development tasks and tackle the most complex development challenges.
- Lead code review activities and approve code in the workflow.
- Report on team and individual effectiveness using KPIs and standard Agile sprint metrics, and perform continuous improvement activities around the metrics.
- Empower the team to be Agile and to use Agile best practices.
- Calculate and enter time for Enterprise Project Management resource planning.
- Lead task estimation work, ensuring estimates are as accurate as possible for project and backlog work.
- Ensure solutions are resilient, scalable, and performant, and that the right level of documentation is produced for all project work.
- Work with the Application Admin team to schedule releases, create Change Requests to support deployment activities, and lead release activities.
- Prioritize support requests, ensure timely resolution, and be responsible for on-call issue escalation.
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue management systems (e.g., Jira) to facilitate collaborative development.
- Ensure adherence to mobile and web security best practices throughout the development process.
- Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers to create seamless and visually appealing user experiences.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends, promoting innovation within the team and aligning technology strategies with business objectives.
- Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure the team understands and executes the goals set out by the agile team.
Project Planning and Management
- Develop comprehensive project plans, considering scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals with overall business objectives.
- Implement project management methodologies to effectively track and manage tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular project reviews to identify and address potential issues, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Foster a collaborative environment within the development team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and career growth.
- Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring a balanced workload for team members.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including client/company business leaders and product managers, to understand requirements and expectations.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and achievements to stakeholders in a clear and transparent manner.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Quality Assurance and Testing
- Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with testing teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
- Identify and address any quality issues or defects promptly.
Budget Oversight
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage project budgets.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising project quality.
Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the development lifecycle.
- Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the technology team.
Service and Product Industry Alignment
- Understand the specific needs and challenges of both service and product-oriented industries.
- Tailor technology solutions to align with industry trends and requirements.
- Ensure that technology initiatives contribute to enhancing both service delivery and product development.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks associated with technology projects and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain a proactive approach to risk management, addressing issues before they escalate.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to create contingency plans for critical project components.
Client and Customer Satisfaction
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to understand client requirements and expectations.
- Ensure that technology solutions meet or exceed client expectations.
- Solicit and incorporate feedback from clients to drive continuous improvement.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and project plans.
- Provide regular and transparent reporting on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience and demonstrated expertise in software development.
- Proven experience in mobile application development using React Native, Flutter, or Maui.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing responsive web applications using .Net, C#, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular/React, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with cross-platform development and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue management systems (e.g., Jira).
- Understanding of mobile and web security best practices.
